Christians. If God is onmiscient, what is the point of voting?

God said I knew you before you were born, . In other words God already knew / knows

who is going to win this election between Trump and Biden. Even the rest of the politicians will automatically fall into place. Prefer Christians answering , but being an open forum, I can't control that.

God knows that the reason you are not voting is because you know God is omniscient and knows who will win. He knows that part of the reason why a particular person will win is because some people do not vote because they know God is omniscient and knows who will win.

I am a Christian who was never, ever tempted to vote for Trump.

The only "want" associated with Trump is maybe wanton cruelty and wanton negligence, and well maybe his insatiable "wants" for sex and money, but then who am I to judge? God does not "want" for anything and I shall not "want."

It is with prayerful discernment that I vote for Joe Biden for the greater good of the USA, as is my responsibility as a citizen.

    We don't like you either.

The people who came up with 'God' and imbued him with 'omniscience' didn't really think about it that hard.

Trying to figure out whether or not an imaginary deity knows everything that will happen, only knows all possible outcomes, etc. is the dictionary definition of futility.

God knows who He wants to win the election, therefore God will motivate people to vote, that way God wants them to vote, if indeed that voting is what wins the election.

Voting is what we do. Knowing is what God does.

Christians are like children who still believe in Santa Claus.

The world is not 6000 years old, Moses did not live to be 120 and Abraham lived to be 180. A global flood did not happen when the Sumerians and Egyptians were flourishing.

Because, unlike God, we aren't omniscient, aren't all-knowing, so God gave humankind choice and freewill so we might learn.

The parents of a child know that their child is going to make choices and that as a result of their choices their child is going to get hurt sometimes, but they don't take away their child's choices because that's the only way their child will learn, like when their child chooses to walk, their child is going to get hurt learning how to walk and afterwards from walking, like by tripping, but they don't keep their child from making the choice to walk and exercising their freewill to walk.

God is our parent, our Heavenly Father. He created us in His image, just like we create our children in our image. The same principles apply. God allows us choices and freewill knowing it's not always going to turn out great just like we allow our children choices and freewill knowing it's not always going to turn out great.
