Will a .28” diameter glue stick fit thru my .27” glue gun (Kelde brand)? I don’t know if there would enough give it not. Anybody tried?

I really want to purchase the Stanley glue sticks but they are .28” and my Kelde glue gun is for .27” glue sticks. Wonder if they’ll fit. if not I could just grind tiny bit off but I wonder if anyone has experience. Knows if they’ll fit thru or not. Thank you

Update:

Haven’t got an answer yet but I can just grind some off if need be so I ordered the glue sticks. Still be good to hear an answer tho

They only really come in two sizes, so I think you should be OK with the nearest nominal size. 100th of an inch is less than the range of manufacturing tolerances and the stick diameter will vary according to whether it is a warm or cold day.

buy Kelde glue sticks and measure them.  If they are smaller then you know you need a StanLee glue gun.  Probably will be a long lasting glue gun too.
