Why do Christians allow themselves to be manipulated by rabble-rousers like Trump ?
Just because someone holds the Bible in his hand sometimes doesn't mean they are Holy. In fact Holy people are known by their fruits. And Trump's fruits in the last 4 years were pain and malady and poverty

Jesus was careful to remain neutral on this issue. He said: “Pay back, therefore, Caesar’s things to Caesar, but God’s things to God.” (Matthew 22:21) Jesus knew that many tax collectors were corrupt, but he did not focus on that. Instead, he focused on the real solution to mankind’s problems, God’s Kingdom. Jesus set the example for true Christians who live by his teachings. They do not take sides in any political issue, even if one side seems right and fair and the other side seems wrong and unjust. Christians focus on God’s Kingdom and on what God says is right. For that reason, they do not have strong opinions about injustices or speak out against them.—Matthew 6:33.
