You are right, Democrats did not win as many seats as they had hoped. But they won the biggest battle. They won the presidency. This is why the cries of voter fraud are so ludicrous. 

The election was a vote rejecting Donald Trump. Down-ballot the people generally supported their local representatives and senators. 

We won the house , the presidency, and possibly the senate.
