Now that it's Thanksgiving will Christians once again try to claim it's their holiday ?

Of course they will.  They think they own everything.

Giving thanks raises everyone's spirit. Let's just enjoy the moment and build a better country and a better world. 

Who would we be thanking, if not God?

Most Christians don't set aside one day of the year to give thanks to God, we give thanks everyday.

Well, sure, it's our holiday. It's also everyone else's. Let's all be thankful for what we have received that is good--and hopeful for improvement for what has happened that is not good.

Did you flunk elementary school history?  It was a Christian group who established the thanksgiving to God for a good harvest.  So exactly HOW is it not Christian??

Maybe, but I think it's more likely that they're gearing up for their perennial "war on christmas" crying.

Just watch and see, there will be an uptick in questions about the "war" shortly after Thanksgiving.

I doubt it. In my country we have Christmas, we don't do 'thanksgiving'.

The fact of the matter: The atheist does not have anything to be thankful for, because they don't believe in God or Satan if they are a true atheist. That is why you mock and curse God, instead of obeying God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior holy word the bible.
