hi.  I built a feral cat shelter.  how can I get the cats to go inside the shelter.  ?

it’s plastic bins, one inside the other with straw for insulation.  Cutout hole to enter one to escape if needed.  off the ground heating pad inside.  any assistance is appreciated.  thank you

    You can't force them, they'll either use it or they won't, cats are also territorial, one or two may use it and keep others out,, place some food and water near the shelter,, not next to it as the food may also attract predators, but close enough for the cats to see the shelter,, they will explore it on their own and decide whether or not to use it,, as the weather turns colder at least one is sure to take refuge in it.
