Boss mad cause I post I have COVID ?
Okay on yesterday I went to get tested for Covid since I noticed my taste buds and smell went away. So the nurse practitioner told me I was tested positive I still couldn’t believe it. But anyway I posted it on Facebook only just to let people know that I was sick. This morning I gets a call from my boss barely asking how I was feeling but asking why would I put such thing on Facebook since I volunteered for her cooking, but I wasn’t trying to hurt her I was only telling family and friends my problem and that’s it. So now she’s mad and I really think I should just leave. Do you think I was wrong or was my boss wrong to even not care about my health
I’m not friend with her on Facebook and plus that’s a Daycare building if someone gets sick they supposed to close anyway and I never said anything like I even said I caught it from there.
Someone asked why didn’t I call her first I have called her three times and never received an call back cause she owe me some money cause I payed for something for her okay

You did what you were supposed to do--you attempted to notify your boss and you notified everyone else--and that's where your obligation to this ends. So your boss is mad--so what? You just saved her quite a bit of trouble. I would not leave though. You don't have to.

If you wanted your boss to be concerned about your health, don’t you think it might have been more appropriate to inform her directly about your diagnosis than posting it on your social media first? You do understand that she has certain things she has to do now because you tested positive no were working there, so could have potentially exposed any number of people (including her)? I think you were wrong to have put that information out of social media before a informing your boss so she could take action. But I also agree you should quit your job.

You've inadvertently damaged her business. Now her customers will think they've all been exposed and will avoid her place. You may have also caused her to have to close or be under some other health department order. You don't need to post your entire life on Facebook.

Why are you friends with your boss on facebook?
Beyond that... we don't need to know every time someone has a scratch or sniffle. I hope you didn't end it "pray for me".

Your boss was wrong. Very wrong. She’s probably worried about a liability lawsuit. Capitalists always say employers get all the money because owning a business is a risk. Well, now it’s time to deal with the risk of owning a business that I’ve always heard about.
