Well, I saw on Social Media a group of Christians celebrating Chanukah among themselves, what do you Jews think about it?

Antichrist is coming. Hide your kids. Hide your wife. Antichrist is flying thru town. Get your glocks out & shoot that son of bytch down.
He's an s.o.b. because his mother is a 12th generation prostitute to jews and hindus.
Source(s): Antichrist is gay flying wizard who was born from a prostitute and who will ride on a donkey into the 3rd Temple. Antichrist's mother is a 12th generation prostitute (according to saint Lavrentiy of Chernigov) According to researcher Grigoriy Klimov, prostitutes = lesbians = witches; so, antichrist's mother is a witch, a lesbian, and a prostitute; forgive me. - ?Lv 55 months ago
I am Jewish and will tell you my opinion. If the Christians are sincere about the miracles of Hanukkah and serious about the true meaning of Hanukkah and being a light in the presence of darkness, where the Hanukkah miracle began, then I have no problem them celebrating Hanukkah. The more people who recognize this big miracle of rededicating the Temple, the better we Jews will be.
IF, however, they are celebrating for public profit, to enforce Christianity, to "celebrate" with their intermarried Jewish spouse or their Jewish friends, for fun or any other reason besides recognizing the miraculous defeat of The Maccabees against The Greeks, then I have many problems with it, and they are not truly "celebrating" Hanukkah. To truly celebrate Hanukkah, one must recognize these wonderful miracles and God's miracles in our lives all the time. Thus, we must recognize that we have to be a light in dark times and circumstances so we can fully take advantage of these miracles (like during covid).
The sad thing is, most Christian's claiming to celebrate Hanukkah know nothing about its history, what it means, or what is expected, thus they are not truly "celebrating" it. The truth is, most Jews will agree with me. I'm not saying you have to do every tradition on the holiday if you are a Christian, only that one must recognize the miracles. There is no obligation for a Christian to even light a Menorah, let alone say the blessings. But if a Christian DOES these things, they should be sincere and know why they are doing them.
God bless you. Peace and blessings (and Happy Hanukkah if you're Jewish)!

Why not? Who wouldn't want eight days of gifts, rather than one? And you don't have to eat fruitcake!

I guess I'd think it was fine, but I'd chuckle a bit at it.
