Can I use 2 % ketonozole shampoo on my face?

I went to the dermatologist and she said I hadn't scorched dermatitis on my scalp.  I didn't have any on my face at the time but I did let her know that I do have whatever is in my scalp on my face sometimes whatever this thing is and but at the time I didn't exactly have it on my face at the moment of the appointment and so she didn't really look too hard at my face but she did look at my scalp and said yes you do have seborrheic dermatitis . And I didn't really push too hard to ask a lot of questions she also looked at my hands and said that I needed urea for my fingernails but she didn't really explain what form of urea. but I did research on seborrheic dermatitis if it could be on my face. I can see whatever is on my head climbing down at that very front of my hair down to my forehead going into my eyebrows. and it actually goes into my t zone onto my nose. so I thot maybe the sd could be on the face. and sure enuf this is what I read:

Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that mainly affects your scalp. It causes scaly patches, red skin and stubborn dandruff. Seborrheic dermatitis can also affect oily areas of the body, such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Update:

That definitely makes sense becausewhen I went in for my firstever rheumatologist appointmentearly this spring after just getting confirmation from GP that I did have autoimmune. &autoimmune is arthritis that's when I went to my rheumi she pointed out that I had psoriatic arthritis in my hands and showed me how I can tell. plus she showed me x-rays and noticed totally by accident there was a patch behind my ears. she thot that might be psoriasis. although now it could've been sd idk.

Update 2:

As soon as I started taking methotrexate &Celebrex as needed for pain I no longer have that patch behind my ear so the dermatologist couldn't have anything to look at unfortunately. but it might be seborrheic dermatitis then again it might be psoriasis I don't know but I know thatseborrheic dermatitis is very much like psoriasissoI was curiousI have a ketoconazole shampoothat I got at the pharmacy prescription. Can I put that on eyebrows? I know u don't want to do a whole lot just a little bit.

Update 3:

But could I just do a small tiny bit of it in my eyebrows? Idk if on eyelids bc I know that you don't want to go blind by putting it in your eyes and I don't know if there's gonna be any fumes. Bc I'm very sensitive to thise kinds of things. I just don't want2 have too many issues.  I'm curious if I can put that on eyebrows or if I shud speak2 the dermatologist about something else 2put on eyebrows 2get rid of seborrheic dermatitis there w/o causing issues to my eyes. What does everyone think?

Update 4:

No I was asking if it was safe to put on my eyelids and save to put the shampoo on my eyebrows not worrying about hair growth I was worried about if my hair is gonna fall out because I know it can make your hair fall out I didn't want bald eyebrows I didn't want more dandruff because of the drying properties etc. I didn't need more issues.

Update 5:

Plus I was will it be bad for my eyes you're not supposed to put it in your eyes and I didn't want to risk that but I get this seborrheic dermatitis on my eyelids too sometimes. and I was questioning how safe it was to use on the face and eyebrows for those reasons. Thanks.

Ketoconazole is an anti-fungal medication used mainly in anti-dandruff shampoos, since dandruff production is fungal in nature (Malassezia). It has no effect on hair growth as such. It acts on eliminating this yeast like fungus from the scalp and hence getting rid of the dandruff.

Kindly consult a specialist in the field for a proper examination and advice.

    Hope this helps
