Do you think Republicans who want to be president, such as Rubio and Cruz, will step aside if Trump decides to run in 2024?

No! There are lots of Republicans who have already broken with Trump and some of them will probably run in 2024. Plus Trump might be serving a jail term in 2024.

Dump can't run in 2024 due to an upcoming life sentence. Biden will crush reelection anyways against anyone 

Who would vote for Cruz at this point?  I sure as hell wouldn't.  He would be worse than Trump.

I voted for Cruz in the 2016 primary, then Trump in the general... Cruz has been an ardent supporter of Tump, but I'm sure he'd still challenge him  in a primary.

No they do not have to step aside. They can compete even if Trump is out of prison and is running. Heck he may not even be alive given his poor health. Cruz cannot run for president because he was not born in the USA. Rubio has little chance even if Trump does not run  Republicans has not won a fair election since George HW did in 1988. Clinton won in 1992 and 1996, and Obama won in 2008 and 2012. 

George W was put into the White House when the Supreme Court voted 5-4 to stop the Florida recount in 2000. The 2004 election appeared to have been stolen by Karl Rove changing votes in Ohio by hiring a computer expert to hack into Ohio state computers in 2004 on election night. The computer expert died of a plane crash later before he can testify on the question of election fraud. Of course in 2016 James Comey interfered with his October surprise and the Russians may have changed voe counts in some states, including Florida. Unless the Republicans can rig the election, it is unlikely that they will have a chance in 2024. 

IF the recent election results stand, I don't believe that Trump will run in 2024.  Why would he want to deal with the Deranged Deep State....again!  No one deserves that.
