Do you need to wrap a Christmas gift that already has a Christmas pattern on it? My husband thinks that I should but I don't understand why?

I put my nephews gifts into boxes that already had a cute Christmas pattern on it.  My spouse said that it would be a good idea for me to wrap the boxes because "people like to unwrap gifts."  Meanwhile, he is using the standard gift bags with tissue paper.

No, if you've 'boxed them, that's wrapped in my mind, especially if the boxes are patterned / fancy!

Well, because "people like to unwrap gifts."

Otherwise, Use Wide (2") Ribbons to close the boxes.

IF the boxes give any kind of clue to contents, wrap them.

Guess your husband uses the gift bags because he thinks people like to peek in gifts too?

No need to wrap a decorated box - it's not a sensible thing to do and creates unnecessary waste.
