Is Store Made/Brought Corn Bread  Unhealthy ?

Update:

What would be the bad ingredients and what would be the good ingredients to look for.

What about people trying to control their cholesterol or prediabetes is it bad to eat.

I have never seen any pre made cornbread in stores, I always see corn muffins mislabeled as cornbread because I look at the ingredients list and I have always seen sugar which cornbread doesn't have.

If your watching your blood sugar limit carbohydrates and limit sugar even more.

I don't think store bought corn bread is any less healthy than un frosted cake

Actually any bread made with flour is unhealthy.   Flourless bread Ezekiel brand so far its the best one unless you can get a hold of millet bread ina Jewish bakery, or in a health food store.

Depends on how it's made.  Look at the ingredients list.

At home I make cornbread with heatlhy oils and whole grain flours.

Not so you would notice unless it comprised a high percentage of your diet over many years.

NO more so than home made.

Depends on what's in it.  Check the ingredients.  Most supermarket-made baked goods are full of crappy oils and chemicals, so they are very unhealthful.
