Leave to remain after 10 years indefinite leave to remain ?
If you have leave to remain in the UK and you have a few more years as it’s you have to renew this every 2and half years. If I apply for indefinite leave in 10 years will I automatically be granted this if I have a child who is British citizen however child will be 20 an adult when I can apply for indefinite leave but myself and partner both are under immigration control meaning leave to remain at the moment we can live and work in the UK. If we are not automatically granted what are the requirement we must meet and if we do not meet these do we have to leave the UK
No gaps on visa limited leave to remain was granted for 10 years renewal every 2 and half years how on it it expires after 10 full years by that time child will be a adult however will indefinite automatically be granted based on long residence I did read there was an English test would that apply

Committing procreation is NOT any qualification for immigration anywhere. You must qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain on your own merits. Your child has birthright citizenship in your country, and you are not a citizen of UK, so you should be prepared to take your child home with you if you leave UK.

Your ability to procreate has no bearing whatsoever on your application for ILR.
If you've held ILR for a certain period, you can apply for British citizenship, which would take away the uncertainty of being able to stay.

It sounds as though you have Limited Leave to Remain based on your minor child. Once you no longer have a minor child your permission will expire. However, 10 years of living legally in the UK gives you the right to ILR. So everything depends on timing. You cannot have any gaps, not even a month, in your visas.

Having a child British or not makes no difference to your residency ...following the HO rules you are under is what matters...5 yrs of LEGALLY living in the UK allows you to apply for citizenship or you can remain as ILR forever ( unless laws change)
Add: your addition is helpful tyou have LIMITED leave to remain which is a temporary renewable visa, IF you have lived in the UK on LLR for a full 10 years with no breaches on the temp visa conditions you ( at this present time under present laws) can appky for ILR.
