What is the current waiting to sponsor a sibling from India if your a US Citizen?

Also if the sibling is married and has children can they come too

    Wait times are so long that your sister's children will age-out of eligibility before your sister ever gets any visa interview for an immigration visa. You must prove you earn enough to support self, all your dependents, plus the person(s) you sponsor, and have a suitable home for them in the US. IF your sister ever becomes a US citizen, and earns enough to support self, all dependents, plus her adult child(ren), she could file a petition for them.

    The sibling of a US citizen is in the F4 family preference category. Currently, they are processing applications from the 15th of March 2005 for India, which means the waiting time is very close to 16 years.
