Is it immoral to watch crime shows for entertainment?

Psalms 11:Jehovah examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one;He hates anyone who loves violence.
There’s another way we can show that we value life. At Psalm 11:5, we learn that Jehovah “hates anyone who loves violence.” If we choose violent entertainment, we might be showing that we love violence. Why would we want to put violent words, ideas, and pictures into our mind?
You also need to shield your heart from the love of violence, for the Devil knows that “anyone loving violence [Jehovah] certainly hates.” (Psalm 11:5) Satan does not have to turn you into a bloodthirsty villain to make you an enemy of God; he simply needs to nurture within you a love of violence. It is no coincidence that violence, often with occult themes, saturates the popular media.
I hope that this information aids you in your journey in finding the truth.

Definition of immoral is different for people and ultimately, what you choose to watch is personal choice. Others not agreeing with or understanding your choice does not negate your decision-making process. Also, there are different levels of crime and crime portrayal in the types of show you mention. Some people like to keep it at the surface, others like to go dark into the world of crime and the criminal mind. All harmless except when the individual turns that viewing into reality.
