Can you work out if you're still sore on your rest day?
I mean lifting weights.
Edit: I had a rest day, but want to lift again.

Yes, provided you aren't TOO sore. Many people are more sore the 2nd day after a workout, than the day immediately after the workout. Some soreness is to be expected, if you are working to challenge/change your body. If you are VERY sore, then take another rest day or do some stretching and low impact cardio. The muscles do need time to rebuild/repair.

If you are experiencing extreme soreness a day or two after working out, back off your workouts (lift lighter weights or do less reps). You may be pushing too hard.
