Is it a Christian's job to believe we are trying to get back where we were before Adam fail (Rm 5:12-14) to go in with Jesus in I Cor 15:28?
THAT SAYS
"And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all?"
Are we "joined to His Spirit" (I Corinthians 6:17) the day Jesus "choses and ordains us" (John 15:16) when (((HE))) baptizes us with the Holy Ghost" (John 1:33; Acts 1:5) and we receive (((POWER))) [Acts 1:8] to become the sons of GOD" (John 1:12-13)?
Isn't that the way we "join to His Spirit" (I Corinthians 6:17) "And then the end comes" (I Corinthians 15:24)
"And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all"
We'll piggy back in with Jesus so "God can be all in all" (I Corinthians 15:28) and we go into God with Jesus?
@Matthew
Being a "DEAD spirit" (Romans 5:12-14; I Corinthians 15:21-22) and "the DEAD knows nothing at all" (Ecc 9:5)
How are you going to "preach" being "DEAD" and one can't "preach except sent by God" (Rm 10:14-15)?
You have to be raised up from the DEAD ((FIRST)) "like as Christ was raised up by the GLORY of the Father" (Rm 6:4) when His ((POWER)) comes upon you (Acts 1:8) after Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5) when "QUICKENED back to life" (Eph 2:1) and "born again of the spirit" (Jn 3:5-7)
@COOL
WHAT?
Baby you're LATE~!
Christians live under the New Covenant in which "GOD puts His law in our hearts and minds" (Jeremiah 31:33-34; Hebrews 8:10-12; 10:16-17) that are NOT IN A BOOK!
"Jesus gives commandments through the Holy Ghost to those He's chosen" (Acts 1:2) to be Christians (John 15:16)
@ANON
WHAT?
Mankind FELL (Romans 5:12-14; I Corinthians 15:21-22).
Now we have to get back home!
Being born "DEAD spirit" (Romans 5:12-14; I Corinthians 15:21-22) and "the DEAD knows nothing at all" (Ecc 9:5).
We have to be raised up from the DEAD ((FIRST)) "like as Christ was raised up by the GLORY of the Father" (Rm 6:4) when His ((POWER)) comes upon us (Acts 1:8) after Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5) and0 "QUICKENED back to life" (Eph 2:1) as we're "born again of the spirit" (Jn 3:5-7)
@ANON
Christianity is about "joining to His Spirit" (I Corinthians 6:17) after believing that His (((POWER))) [Acts 1:5;8] can do everything [Isaiah 45:7] (((THROUGH YOU))) [Isaiah 42:6-7; GNT].
Afterwards "It is God working in us" (Philippians 2:13) "Teaching us godliness" (Titus 2:12).
So lay back and relax (Zech 4:6) and "obey those commandments" (Acts 1:2).
@ANON
You don't like Q's with Bible verses in the R&S Section of Y/A.
You "HATE GOD" that much (Exodus 20:4-5)?
You'd rather have Q's like "Insane people?"
Why don't you go answer that one or are you waiting on one pertaining to "Packing Jesus' fudge?"
@ ?
We have conditions to meet to take advantage of Jesus dying for us.
They are "Seek ye first Holy Spirit baptism" (Matthew 6:33) "Hear" and "Believe" from a "sent preacher" (Romans 10:14-15) "repent to God" (Psalm 32:3-5) and "pray and beg" (Acts 1:14) for "the gift" that is "the promise" (Acts 1:4) of Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5;8) to "be born again of the spirit" (John 3:5-7).
We (((DO))) want to get back to the state we were before Adam fell when God was doing everything for them. Adam and Eve didn't have to do nothing but obey the voice of God.
However the disobeyed and "sin passed on all men" (Romans 5:12-14) and "sin is death" (Romans 6:23). Now we're born "DEAD spirits" and is why Jesus commanded us "You must be born again of the spirit" (John 3:5-7.
There is none God except God (Mark 10:18). That's why when He baptizes us with the Holy Ghost (John 1:33) He puts His Spirit in us (Romans 8:9) and start "Working in us" (Philippians 2:13). Afterwards "We are righteous by faith" (Romans 3:22) in His POWER (Colossians 2:12) and are "Being justified freely by grace" (Romans 3:24)
@Fireball
God is NOT coming back and restore a paradise when He gives us (((POWER))) [Acts 1:8] after Holy Spirit baptism [Acts 1:5] to "change the world" (Isaiah 42:6-7; GNT).
That's (((OUR))) job!
@DC
That's why you have (((NO POWER))) [Acts 1:8] received after Holy Spirit baptism [Acts 1:5] to become a son of GOD" (John 1:12-13) and are therefore not even a Christian (I Corinthians 12:11-13) just like the other today's Christians who >>>SHOT OFF<<< from that LYING catholic SHYT taking catholic doctrine with them who are POWERLESS "DEAD spirits" (Romans 5:12-14; I Corinthians 15:21-22).
@MAGIX
" Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the (((OLD PATHS,))) where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’" (Jeremiah 6:16).
"Yet My people have forgotten Me. They burn incense to worthless idols [Water baptizing each other and eating His body] that make them stumble in their ways, leaving the (((ANCIENT ROADS))) to walk on rutted bypaths instead of on the highway" (Jer 18:15).
"But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken" (Isaiah 28:13)

No. That is wrong. We are not trying to get back, we are trying to go forward. There is no going back.

Baptism with water, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is the time tested, divinely approved method of accomplishing all that you mention and much, much more ... including becoming a member of the Church.

we needed Jesus to buy back for us what Adam lost. But we are still responsible for what we do. We will never get back to before Adam and we do not want to. Everything that has happened has been a learning experience. Even in our own personal lives. Everything we have went through has been a learningn experience so that we can become better people.

It is a Christian's job to following Jesus command as recorded at Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:18-20.

The job of a Christian is number one to make disciples like the Bible says teach people how to work together using God's word as a game plan.
The original purpose that God had was man to occupy the earth under a paradise condition man screwed that up well that's God's purpose that's what we ought to be working for the most destructive belief on the planet Earth is that we're going to fly away from Earth someday and leave it to burn up.
People are taught that since their little kids well if you're going to fly away someday to heaven and leave the Earth to burn up why should we bother to take care of it.
but if you work toward the realistic goal that God set before you you have every incentive to take care of your home your planet and your fellow human being
