Is ETrade worth it?

My reason: I’m looking for places to invest money using stocks, I already have stocks from when I was younger but I want to sign up for a secondary place. I looked up if E*TRADE is legit and my sources say they are, but I don’t know how secure E*TRADE is and I don’t want to put my information if E*TRADE is not secure. I mean I know I have to put my information in for things when I sign up btw I already have one stock place; Robinhood but I want another one as well.

I havent heard anything bad about them. There may be better places to invest your money with, but I doubt that it is a glaring difference. Youll be good with them. Just dont go with Robin Hood who Ive heard plenty of bad about. Oh, on second look you use Robin Hood. You should stop using them. Never spend another dime with them. Its laughable that you are going from Robinhood to someone else when the someone else is nearly always greatly better than Robinhood. Robinhood is the bottom of the barrel.

ETrade is a reputable firm whereas Robinhood is questionable, I use Ameritrade and have for many years. I've never had a problem with them.

ETrade security is equivalent to other brokerages. As with other brokerages you are responsible for picking your password and keeping it safe from other people.

ETrade has been around longer than most other online brokerages and has a solid reputation.

e*trade is a well known business.  I would have no problem giving them my personal information to open an account if that's what I wanted to do.  I'm not sure why you would want to have two brokers though.

Etrade is fine. Better than robinhood. Fidelity is probably better. Or Schwab.
