In WWE: Shinsuke. I'll preface this by saying I haven't watched any of the build toward his current push, but Shinsuke vs AJ used to be a high hurdle to overcome when it came to match of the night, but none of their battles within WWE came anywhere close to capturing the magic they had in New Japan. I hate how Morrison's return has gone as well. He went from being the hottest free agent in high profile promotions like AAA, Impact, and Lucha Underground, to being The Miz's human shield. Morrison deserves better. I was a massive fan of Ruby Riott on the indies, but due to booking and the work she's put in with limited time given, she really hasn't done much in the WWE. There are others, surprisingly a lot coming out of NXT, but I'll digress and try to keep this short. TL:DR- WWE has too much talent and doesn't know how to deal with 75% of it.
In AEW: Christopher Daniels used to be an all-time favorite of mine, and while he's not on Dynamite often, when he is it often feels forced. He also really hasn't changed much as a wrestler in the past 20 years, so there's that too I suppose. I used to love Angelico in LU, and was starting to enjoy Jack Evans for the first time in ages in Lucha Underground as well but they've fallen flat every single time they've been given an opportunity to shine in AEW. Of course the 'fun' and even 'popular' answer is Cody, who has really tested my fandom since the company's inception but I still enjoy watching him work in the ring despite his sizable ego so I wont list him. Is he on thin ice? you betcha. Another popular one is The Young Bucks, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sick of The Young Bucks two or three years before the inception of AEW.

In WWE Seth Rollins. Was a fan from when he entered developmental but now I'm kinda bored by him. This is where I'm.hoping AEW remains genuine competition. A guy like Rollins could move to AEW for a couple of years then move back when the talent rosters are a bit refreshed.
