We have a newspaper here to which we refer as The Ugly Liar, but we only get it when set out as free for fire-starters or lining the litter box. Otherwise, we read top-drawer newspaper headlines on the web and go from there, but it's not every day.
We do buy the county's local blab, but only to keep up with the obits and other local occurrences (which don't get reported anywhere else).

No my news comes from online, from multiple sources, and all political affiliations, how else can you judge what is really going on?
When I buy a British paper it tends to be the Independent, as of all of them it lives up to it's title more than most.

I Don't buy newspapers and can't spend a valuable hour reading their tripe. I get the main headlines from the Internet and only read more if it's of interest to me.

Possibly the only non-Murdoch newspaper remaining in Australia.

I get the free Evening Standard daily and it is worth rather less than I pay for it, but at least it gets me out of the house for a brisk walk to collect it.
