The Nazis weren’t the least bit progressive and socialist. They used the word “socialist” in their party name as a deliberate misnomer to drum up working class support. This is well-known documented history.

The Nazis have much in common with today's Democratic Party. The Democrats oppose freedoms, love big government, oppose religion, and have their own propaganda outlets and street armies. The parallels are undeniable. 

Get yourself an education. Nazism was/is a far-right, fascist ideology.
