Does the American Left consider anecdotal things to be evidence?

In the information age, shouldn't there be something recorded of the person committing the crime to be considered evidence?

Update:

If there is this trove of evidence against Trump, is any published on the internet, and it so where?

Update 2:

I don't think they are stupid, I think they have a different way of thinking and I want to understand it.
