Could Trump become a governor?

If he's convicted during part 2 of his impeachment, Trump won't be able to hold office anywhere.

Since he's so rich (har har), he could buy an offshore oil rig, and declare himself king.

California may flip red faster than you may think.  No, I do not think President Trump would become a Governor.

He has too many legal problems at the moment, if he wants to be Governor to anywhere, he needs to clear up his legal issues first, then we'll see what he is legally able to do for the rest of his political life.

Drumpf will never be allowed to run for public office again . He will be lucky to avoid prison , and at the least will be censored for life . Which won't be long at any rate . He`s an old fart, and will be dead soon .

If any Americans ever elect Trump to anything, they deserve everything they get.

For part of a state to secede from the rest of a state and form it's own state is far more complicated than that and unlikely to ever happen,, if Trump wanted to be a governor he would have a much easier, and quicker, chance of doing so if he were to just run for governor of some already pro Trump red state.

He could, but he won't.  It would be a step down from being President.

He could easily become a Senator too, but same story.  Plus it isn't an Executive type position which is what he likes.
