Maybe if you took the time to actually READ articles you would have seen why. However maybe you don't have any comprehension skills either. Funny thing is I read one article about it and that article explained it without any trouble. There is an exemption saying employees can live at the resorts. He is considered an employee. Therefore he is exempt. It is really that easy.

The latest argument I heard was that employees of the resort are allowed to live there. While that was probably not the intention of the exemption, D. Trump is an employee. Frankly, I don't care. It's their problem.

let us wait and see how this plays out. Mar-a-Lago is in a Democrat controlled county [Palm Beach] and I doubt the commissioners will be willing to change the contract [no matter how much he pays]. However, since I haven't seen the contract, I have no idea what the penalties included are for violations.
