Are women more likely then men to make decisions and form opinions  based on emotion rather then facts and logic ?

No. For proof, look at commercials. Marketing people know that we ALL make many decisions based on emotions. That's why they put beautiful women in car ads, babies in tire ads, and American flags in beer ads. Your emotions points you toward the product. Then they give you a little bit of information that you can use to convince yourself that you made your decisions based on logic and reason- these tires are made of higher quality materials, these cars have safety features, this beer tastes better. Companies put millions and millions of dollars into these ads- do you think they would do that without research showing them how to influence buyers? Men are just as emotional as women- saying something in a flat tone does not mean it is less emotion-driven than something said through tears. Look at the faces of the men involved in the Jan. 6 riot, and tell me they are being logical, not emotional!

It not only depends on the specific woman or man, but on the decision itself. The level of personal investment in a decision can dictate the amount of logic used. Also, all people, both men and women, tend to use emotions more in some circumstances (such as personal relationships) and logic more in others (like business.)

Not really. Some women have no emotions, while some men do. 

Yes, that is true. It's also true that men are more likely than women to come to conclusions based on purely pragmatic assessment. Which is why virtually all deliberative bodies need input from people of both genders. Gender relations was never meant to be us against them. Men and women have different strengths that compliment their respective weaknesses. 

I looked into it briefly and the answer seems to be no. Everything I read said there are differences in how women and men make decisions but emotion overriding facts and logic is not something that happens to women more than it does to men. 

100% Yes with zero doubt.

On average, I'd say no. I know plenty of women who make reasoned decisions, and men who do the opposite.
