it's not going to happen, however it is closer than what some would have you believe..our biggest problem right now and it was always going to be a problem, despite what they tell you about vaccines, is mutations and adaptations of the virus, which could yet reek havoc...but not to the extend you are suggesting

The thing is they have a vaccine for Covid 19, so the Human Race will be around for a long time Halley.

Almost half a million have died in the United States and if that ratio happens everywhere it might be a problem. Maybe God should decide so earth is safe. Maybe you should clean up your act and see if God listens to your prayers. Went to church yesterday and it helped the people have hope. Trust me God knows when you screw up.

Not very. The plagues of the middle ages killed one third of the population. This only has a 2% mortality.
But there could be some kind of bad mutation. And this become contagious and deadly at the same time.
The new UN climate report--came out in Nov 2019--says pollution and greenhouse gases are now a serious, maybe irreversible problem

There's more chance of living in mars next year than the human race going extinct due to covid.

Vastly overrated. Death rate is around 2%, and a lot of those have pre-existing conditions that make them more vulnerable. Had my first Pfizer shot yesterday.

Not even near! It would have been worse if we got ebola instead of covid
