can 1067 songs fit on a  8gb mp3 player?

im planning on buying a 8gb sandisk mp3 player from amazon

my songs are mostly 60s 70s and 80s songs

elvis beatles. heart. kiss . eagles..boston. arlo guthrie. stones. zeppelin. etc

im confident they should all fit

    320Kbit MP3s typically average around 8MB each, so 1000 could well be about 8GB.

    It depends on the length of the tracks; shorter "radio" versions would be smaller than the album versions of the same tracks, in many cases, so you would get more on it.

    I would suggest a bigger memory one if you can, so you know you will not run out of space.
