It is emotionally healthy to cry during times of sadness and unhappiness. It releases emotional stress and clears the eyeballs too.

A weak person is someone who is a coward and fears showing their true emotions appropriately by hiding their true intentions under a mask.

Fun fact, serotonin can be found in emotional tears. Crying is a self-soothing behavior that helps discharge and process emotions. 

I find it helpful to keep a YouTube playlist of emotional scenes that always get my water-works going. I use it when its been a while since I had a good cry. 

It is healthy. 

It is necessary and it is cathartic. 

Crying does not show weakness.  Crying is a way of coping with reality.  Crying is an emotion & emotions are real feelings.  I would guess that you had a hard heart if you don't cry.  No emotion, no feelings, don't care, cold hard heart.

Crying is very healthy. You are damaging yourself and your emotions by suppressing the need for crying. "Crying is a weakness" is a childish idiocy, don't believe that. Your smile is just a mask, which became too solid to be taken off. You need to smash it with a hammer (metaphorically speaking, of course), so that all those fragments will be scattered all around, and you will feel the freedom of emotion again. Please don't enchain your soul like that.

If you are unable to cry then you are likely not dealing with deeper issues in a healthy manner. To some degree you are just bottling everything up and hoping it goes away.

People often avoid dealing with things because they think it's easier to ignore. Crying is an outlet for emotions. This could even be in response to an understanding of how an actor is dealing with a pretend role in a film. That shows empathy.

Crying does not make you weak it shows that you are human

The case I make against grown men and women crying is that it's a sign that the person is not coping well and I disagree with people who say it's a good coping method. What I believe in is calming down in a moment of stress so you can think clearly. You don't have to smile.
