Re Rev 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that has part in the FIRST resurrection"  When did that take place? From our "DEAD spirits" (Rm 5:12-14)?

Update:

WHEN WE ARE "BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT" (JOHN 3:5-7) AND ARE

"RESURRECTED FROM OUR DEAD SPIRITS" (ROMANS 8:11)

WHEN "HE RAISED US UP AND SET US IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS" (EPHESIANS 2:6)?

IS THIS THE (((FIRST RESURRECTION))) (REVELATION 20:6)?

Update 2:

@YESMAR

MY GOD MAN!

HOW DOES OUR "DEAD SPIRITS" (((RESURRECT))) IN ORDER TO BE "BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT" (JOHN 3:5-7) IF NOT BY HIS (((POWER))) THAT COMES UPON US" (ACTS 1:8) AFTER HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM (ACTS 1:5) WHO "QUICKENS US" (I COR 15:45) BACK TO LIFE (EPH 2:1) FROM OUR DEAD SPIRITS

THAT ***IS*** (((THE FIRST RESURRECTION))) (REV 20:6)?

Update 3:

@ANON

LIKE YOU DID GOD'S WILL ACTING LIKE A JW WHEN SOMEONE DOESN'T AGREE WITH YOUR LYING "PRIVATE INTERPRETATIONS" NOT "MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST" (II PETER 1:20-21) WHO DISFELLOWSHIP THE LOST SHEEP.

DIDN'T JESUS LEAVE THE 99 AND GO AFTER THE 1?

YOU'RE A PIECE OF SHYT (I COR 10:21)!

Update 4:

@MAGIX

"And I saw an angel come down from heaven [Hebrews 13:2; Ephesians 2:6]  having the key [Matthew 16:19] of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand" (Rev 20:1) because Jesus said in Matthew 16:19 to  the Holy Spirit baptized who receives "revelation" [Matt 6:17] from heaven [Gal 1:12; Acts 1:2] "And I will give unto you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven:  and whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:  and whatsoever you loose on earth, shall be loosed in heaven."

Update 5:

Therefore Revelation is not future prophecy.

I'm telling you, you can't understand Scripture unless GOD GIVES YOU UNDERSTANDING after Holy Spirit baptism (I Corinthians 12:13) from the "Spiritual gifts" of "wisdom" and "knowledge" (I Corinthians 12:8).

Update 6:

@Justin

"For as in Adam all die [Romans 5:12-14], so in Christ all will be made alive [Ephesians 2:1 by His (((POWER))) that comes upon us" Acts 1:8 When He baptizes us with the Holy Ghost" John 1:33; Acts 1:5]. But each in his own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then at His coming, those who belong to Him" (I Corinthians 15:22-23) and we "belong to Him" after He baptizes us with the Holy Ghost [John 1:33; Acts 1:5] and we receive (((POWER))) [Acts 1:8] to become the sons of GOD" (John 1:12-13)

Update 7:

"The dead in Christ" (I Thessalonians 4:16) "rise" after Holy Spirit baptism (Romans 6:3) when we are "like as Christ was raised up by the glory of the Father" (Romans 6:4) by (((HIS POWER))) that comes upon us" (Acts 1:8) after Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5).

"For (((THE PROMISE))) [Of Holy Spirit baptism; Acts 1:4-5] is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our GOD shall call" (Acts 2:39).

What 144,000 (((ONLY)))?

Update 8:

What "RAPTURE?"

"The dust shall return to the earth but the spirit returns to GOD who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7) Just like Jesus' when He said "Into thy hands I commend My Spirit" (Luke 23:46) and "the conclusion of the matter" is in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14.

Even when Stephen was stoned to death Acts 7:59 says he said "... And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

    1914 was the first resurrection of those who are going to live in heaven.  Then the resurrection of those to live forever on earth.  In a flesh and blood body.  Revelation 5:10 tells about this.  www.jw.org

    The first resurrection takes place from Christ's resurrection (currently in abeyance) until the end of the Millennium, I think.  It has nothing to do with becoming spiritually vivified and aware.

    >> When did that take place? <<

    It didn't take place yet.

    It's described clearly in vv 4-5.

    So (and it's described very clearly there):

    "The first resurrection" occurs at the beginning of the Millennium

    after Satan is bound.

    "The second resurrection" occurs after the Millennium (v5, and again in more detail in vv 12-13)

    In other words:

    the two verses preceding the one you cite

    clearly describes two resurrections

    and when they will occur.

    Just READ.

    The 'first resurrection' is also called the resurrection of the 'first fruits' (according to the analogy of the Wheat Harvest). It began with Christ and those certain righteous ones from the OT era whom GOD raised from the tombs along with Him, (Matthew 27:52), and will be completed when the '144,000' are raised first, prior to the rapture, when the 'General Harvest' will occur, all of the dead in Christ and then those still remaining alive, (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

    The '144,000' are special 'chaste' persons who reject fornication even after it has become ubiquitous on earth, escaping from the 'wine' of the harlot of Babylon and avoiding her plagues. They will attain the bodily resurrection first and begin to manage the world with Christ 'in the air' as a restructuring begins, the unrighteous are physically judged and the world begins preparing from Christ's physical return. This will not be an open or obvious event until the rapture occurs.

    Signs of Christ's 'appearance' will begin before the event actually occurs as the 144,000 display His power and authority in various new ways for the world, including both increasing genius and increasing judgments. This will build in intensity like a woman in labor until a 'birth' occurs, which is the actual moment when the Lord will 'appear' and reveal His previously hidden government. We are among the first generations to be able to actually imagine what it means to have an entire community operating 'in the air' above the earth.

    Rev. 20:6 is explained in Rev. 20:4. As Revelations is a book of prophecy that has not yet happened, it can not be explained away with any quote from another book.

    No, it is not the “first resurrection”

    Update:  being born from above, and resurrected from the dead, are two different things.

      You blending them and creating tour own theology doesn’t make it so.
