2021 will be a make or break year for Jon Gruden as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. What will he do? Make or break?

I think the Raiders will be a borderline playoff team in 2021.  Whether that's "make" or "break" probably depends on if you're a fan or not.  That said, Gruden is signed until January of 2028 so I fail to see how 2021 is a make or break year for him.  I'm sure Gruden wants to win-now but he's still got plenty of time left if the Raiders don't happen to be great next year.  Firing him would be too expensive.

It remains to be seen who the Raiders add in free agency and the draft. Unless they solidify the defense it will be break.

Why do you think that?  Didn't he sign some crazy long deal with huge guarantees in it?  He's too expensive to fire.
