I have a fear of being forgotten or ignored why is that?

    It's a normal fear. Humans stride to make their names ones to remember. People want to be understood, they want to be respected, they want to leave some sort of legacy. The fear will become smaller as you continue to follow whatever you set out to do, whether it be to build the first FTL drive for a ship, solve the problems that whatever country you're in is currently experiencing, or invent the first time machine (good luck controlling a manmade concept that doesn't exist though.) The reality of it is, that fear will always be there until you work hard and make accomplishments. Even Bill Gates sometimes has that fear though, everyone eventually has it, then forgets, then has it again.
