What Is The Main Reason America 🇺🇸 Has Been Always Separated & Divided??

The 1% pit us against each other so that we are so busy fighting each other, that we don't realize that the 1% are the real problem.

This has been going on since the civil war, when white laborers were pitted against former slaves who were "taking their jobs". The 1% couldn't maintain their profit margins without slave labor (just like today) so they fought tooth and nail against abolition and got their white employees to go along with them. There are new groups of "others" thrown in to the pit regularly to keep us busy. After former slaves, it was blacks in general (which has stuck) then Irish, Italians, then immigrants in general.

Nowadays it's easier to divide people using social media.

Tbh, I think we are a divided country simply because we are the first country that has attempted to bring together many unlike-minded people from different cultures and backgrounds. In doing so, you are going to run into a lot of conflict. If you go to places like Mexico everyone is pretty much Mexican, most are catholic, and they share like-minded opinions about most things in general. If you started to create a diverse demographic in Mexico you would see the same problems that exist here arise there.
