Best Anxiety medication?

I already take adhd medicine and have since my freshman year of high for my add. However, I recently started on Xanax for my panic attacks. I’m on 0.5 mg, but I can’t feel it as much as I used to but it has really helped tremendously with my anxiety in public. However I’m not sure if I should up my dose on the Xanax or switch to a better anxiety medication? Thoughts? I’ve been on Ativan too

Never adjust your medication dose without your doctor's approval.  Talk with your therapist.

Please talk with your doctor about this and non-drug methods of treating anxiety and panic disorder.  Britain's National Institute for Clinical Excellence does not recommend medication for panic disorder. They say that for most patients with anxiety, therapy (CBT) is more helpful than medication and that many people benefit from self-help based on CBT.
