Sprinkling baking soda around my bed once in a while really kills off bedbugs. Shouldn't anyone know it?

    they will when you asked this question,one thing that also helps is not using a regular bed or couch to sleep in, then they dont have cushions or a mattress to live on, i sleep on an airbed and that helps me a lot

    Diatomaceous earth is safe and effective way to control bed bugs- takes 7-17 days so not instant - (if you are dead set on sprinkling white powdery substances around your room might as well be one that is recommended for bed bugs)

    There is no scientific evidence to suggest that baking soda is a successful home remedy for bed bugs. Baking soda actually breaks down when it comes into contact with water, so the idea that it can absorb the thick fluids found on a bed bug shell is quite questionable.

    How would baking soda kill bed bugs unless you drowning them in it?
