If you are obese and you just lift weights and eat a healthy diet at a caloric deficit, will you lose body fat while building lean muscle?

NO BUILDING MUSCLE REQUIRE PROTEIN NOT CALORIES. INCREASE THE PROTEIN INTAKE, LOWER CARBS, KEEP FAT SAME, AND RAISE FIBER INTAKE TO OFFSET PROTEIN INTAKE.

YOU CAN NOT BUILD MUSCLE WITHOUT THE BUILDING BLOCKS CALLED PROTEIN.

CALORIES ARE NOTHING BUT A UNIT OF MEASURE AND ARE TRULY MEANINGLESS IN THE BODY.

IF YOU DONOT BELIEVE LOOK UP THE DEFINITION. IF YO DO NOT THAN ASK THIS:

WHAT PART OF THE CALORIE DOES THE BODY USE? WHAT CHEMICAL COMPONENT? DOES IT BUILD/REPAIR MUSCLE? NO THAT PROTEIN. IS IT USED A FUEL FOR THE MUSCLES OR BODY? NOPE CARBS TO THIS. HOW ABT KEEPING YOUR CRAP TOGETHER? THAT AGAIN IS FIBER

SO I ASK WHY COUNT CALORIES WHEN IT MEANS NOTHING.

COUNT PROTEIN AND CARBS YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF

Building muscle requires a calorie excess, but if one is carrying excess fat the body uses that for energy when needed. The article below discusses how to build muscle and lose fat at the same time.

You can't really build muscle on a deficit.
