should the federal reserve bank issue credit cards instead of paper money?
Think about it. You buy things without using cash. You don't use a credit card when you buy a hooker or illegal drugs. Is this because a computer keeps a record of every purchase you make? Would the wh0re or the drug dealer be able to do business if cash were eliminated?

If you want to suggest issuing DEBIT cards, there is room for debate.

some people are worried about privacy in the future. It is theoretically possible we won't have cash anymore and the government will give us credit cards that they control. If they want to know what you buy, they will find this information in their data bank, where they can also find out where you were when you made the purchase.
Suppose you earn a living on the street selling drugs? You need the cash addicts would give you. I don't know how they could pay you with a credit card.

Most people don't want cash eliminated. They don't mind using a credit card at a store, but they need cash to buy a hooker or a vial of crack

A credit card is based on credit. Using a card in place of cash is debit. I don't buy hookers or illegal drugs, but I do use cash. I do not want cash eliminated. I don't think most people do.
