Is it really that bad to wash your hair daily?
If I don't mine will feel greasy and I feel dry shampoo isn't good for the hair since it contains a lot of alcohol!

Lots of girls and women shampoo daily. If you use a mild shampoo, just enough to get the job done, that doesn't dry your hair out (and a conditioner if you need one), then it's just fine.
I'm pretty old. When I was a teenager and young adult, shampoos were thick and fairly harsh and tended to strip the hair of all oils. Now they're clearly more diluted, and many are designed to promote healthy-but-clean hair.

No it is not bad. Each person is different. If you hair looks and feels better when you wash every day then you do you and wash every day. It's really nobody's business how you care for your hair as long as you are personally happy with the results.
