Have you ever known anyone with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)? At what age did they catch it and how fast did it progress?
I've been researching about ALS and geez it's a really scary disease which I hope they find a successful treatment for in the near future. I feel so bad for those afflicted with it.

People I have known who had it were in their 50's and 60's. They all lasted about one year after diagnosis.
