Do clean and hygenic people that obsessively clean, and follow all lockdown guidelines, still catch covid?

    Yes. The majority of people that got covid also wore masks!

    Over 70% of those who got covid report using their masks and following recommendation, the majority of the time.

    I don't think anyone is keeping that statistic. None of my group of friends has caught covid. They don't clean obsessively, but they wash their hands after going to the grocery store and handling packages that are delivered, they wear masks, and they distance. From what I have read, most of the people who have come down with covid are a. in a care facility or prison, b. go to parties where people don't wear masks, c. drink in bars where they are in close proximity to other people. 

    Touching surfaces doesn't seem to be a major way of transmitting the virus. It's air borne.

    Possibly, if they come into contact with those who don't take proper precautions.

    Even more so because their bodies are not used to fighting off any infections.
