What is the starting salary for an investment banking analyst?

Assume the person in question graduated from an Ivy League (or equivalent) institution and has done an internship on Wall Street.

What would the entry level salary be for an IB analyst in NYC?  I know it'll be a range, but what are some ballpark numbers?

Update:

I'm not asking who they "mostly" hire.  I'm asking SPECIFICALLY for an entry level from college.  And I know the pay is "good".  Can you provide a RANGE?  Lastly, I did NOT ask about competition or long hours.  I do not understand why it is so hard to get an ACTUAL answer to a very specific question.

Update 2:

Mamawisdom - Thanks for answering the question.  It's been quite difficult to get any actual answers, even on "serious" categories like this one.  Can you elaborate on what the benefits entail?  Do they entail bonuses?  Or mostly health, PTO, etc?

The pay is good but the competition is fierce and the hours are long. They mostly hire MBAs with top GPAs.
