Hopefully the senate will be smarter than congress about the voters rights bill.  It is only a democrat rights bill.  Stupid?

Hopefully the senate is smarter than the idiots in congress. And they will vote against this stupid  bill for so-called voters rights.  It is Dems rights only!

Just another way libs will try to make sure that they keep and strengthen their one party dictatorship.  They will make it so that any elections we have will mean nothing, just be empty gestures.  When they can undermine any faith or trust the citizens have in the elections, they will have a straight shot to implementing a communist like government,  which is their goal.

Freedom from restriction in voting is a very basic and fundamental right that everyone should support.

You're not even smart enough to know that the Senate is Congress, is one of the two houses of Congress. It's the House of Representative, not Congress, that has passed the voter rights bill you're referring to. If Congress had passed it, it would already be through both houses (i.e., Senate, also) and on the way to the President. Maybe if you were smart enough to know that, you'd also be smart enough to know how anti-American you're being by being against voter rights and being pro-voter suppression, which is what the voter rights bill you're referring to helps curb.

Since you think the Senate and Congress are separate things we can ignore your ignorant opinion.

Putting roadblocks on every eligible citizen voting has been the Conservative ideal for many decades. Starting at reconstruction and still going on.  The cons just know that they are outnumbered and without denying voting to many is their only chance of winning.

Republicans are against it because it encourages voting. How dare the Democrats get our turnout of voters up to the percentage of other countries that use the republican form of government!

There are some serious Constitutional questions since Art. II, Sec. 2 gives state Legislatures, not Congress, the power to set election rules.
