The foolish Markle dame is busy dissing the Royal Family..Do you think that is right for someone who wants to stay out of the public eye?

Let's ignore her. She wants attention, don't give it to her.  And especially , do not watch this interview with the big O, they're counting on everyone watching.  Don't feed into their hype.

The royal family is and always was an institution and a corporation, a business if you will. It had to be exposed.

It does seem a bit like burning bridges: they both claim they respect the Queen, but she is going to be offended, however you dress it up.

Every time she is in the news it adds more $$$$$$$$$$$, to what she can charge for appearances at any event she attends.

Personally I don't think airing dirty laundry in public is a good idea. That being said it is very American to state personal grievances in public.

I will watch and wish her much success. So what if she shares what she experienced? These folks are not really superior to her but I'm sure they thought so. I don't blame them for leaving that ridiculous outdated setting.

It's not foolishness but a learning experience and she is making the best of it.

The Sussexes did not say that they wished to stay out of the public eye; their new enterprise requires some public attention. What the Sussexes wish is to control how they are covered, what is said about them in the media; they wish the eyes of the public to focus on their foundation, charities, documentaries.

Today's reporters are failing in their jobs; too many are just regurgitating what they read and hear from tabloids not known for veracity, truthfulness. Words have been taken out of context and the original intent has been twisted to form the tabloid story and not the real , entire, in context interview's intent. Meghan has not "dissed" the Queen. Meghan has talked about how she feels poorly treated by palace courtiers. These palace courtiers do have a poor reputation dating back to the days of Sarah, Duchess of York and Prince Philip's marrying into the family.  Sarah complained how courtiers only criticized and disparaged her, never helping or encouraging her. And Philip had many of his ideas to make tweaks to the institution ignored by courtiers, but Philip eventually did get some things changed.

I have to agree with the other contributor about whom is doing the "dissing." We have an anonymuncle,  an old fashioned word for an anonymous poster, who is intent on only posting "questions" that are meant to elicit negative things about the royals.

She didn't say she wanted to "stay out of the public eye".  They both want to control their own lives and their own narrative, choose their own projects and make their own decisions.

Isn't that what most of us want?
