I'm trying to be inclusive by appealing to singles who have dating problems.

If you state a fact, it is much more believable if you do cite a reputable source. If you are unable to support your fact with a source, it becomes opinion, NOT fact. Please cite sources whenever possible.

Honey, there appear to be very few rules about anything here. Supposedly, you cannot solicit contact, post porno, threats, or attack anyone, and there are mechanisms for reporting such things. However, in the many years I've been advising, I fail to see that anything is ever really done about it when someone violates said rules. Citing sources is not against the so-called rules. But most often, its blatantly clear when someone is professing an opinion and calling it fact. And there's a lot of that going on. This website is also used by people who either aren't very bright, who are opinionated, ignorant,  who want to put others down, who aren't seeking advice, and more. With no controls imposed, there's only the option to work around it. Other advice giving websites do practice more controls and maintain higher standards .

Of course not.  Just like there isn't a rule against asking really stupid questions that have absolutely nothing to do with the category they're posted in.
