I'm itching to experience sex safely, but I'm afraid that having safe sex with more than one partner is as dangerous as non-safe sex.?
I've been looking up tons of things about safe sex and I feel that you're still going to raise more risks in transmitting infection and disease even if you do it safely often. I'm a virgin, so what am I missing here?

What you are missing is nasty sexually transmitted diseases. You don't want any of them either so look after yourself and don't be stupid or rash. The 'pill' will not protect you from catching nasty diseases, it is designed to prevent pregnancy, that's all, and even with that it is not 100% foolproof.

Hold off having sex until you are mature enough to enjoy it. Right now no matter who, what, when and where you won't enjoy it because you are afraid of coming down with an STI.
There's no rush and if you do rush it you will be climbing the walls thinking you are going to die of AIDS and every time you get a cold you will think you have it and you will be so scared to go to a doctor for testing because you will be scared of the results. Not worth it. Those people post here all of the time.
Wait awhile.

No safe sex reduces you and your partners chances of getting an std, and or getting some one pregnant. Condoms do reduce your chances of getting an std or getting pregnant or getting some one pregnant, if they don't break or fall off. You could still get HPV and herpes, if you use condoms but they do reduce your risk of getting HIV and other stds.
These days you would also have to wear a mask during sex, to help reduce your chances of getting covid. Think about that before you have sex.
