I'm itching to experience sex safely, but I'm afraid that having safe sex with more than one partner is as dangerous as non-safe sex.?
I've been looking up tons of things about safe sex and I feel that you're still going to raise more risks in transmitting infection and disease even if you do it safely often. I'm a virgin, so what am I missing here?
5 AnswersSTDs2 months agoI plan to file a petition to appeal academic dismissal at my school over my discontinuation from the psych program.?
I've never been told to do so but since some advisors including my former advisor and associate dean of the college told me no way can I get back into the degree program, this is what I'm doing, can such petition work for anyone to overrule a recent discontinuation decision? My intent is to graduate by the end of the school year and psychology was the subject I had fun in until extenuating circumstances occurred which I never shared with anyone.

2 AnswersPolitics5 months agoI believe I've had an experience of sexual abuse by one of my relatives but I don't know if my case is sexual abuse.?
I was little either 6 or 7, it was just me, my twin brother and my aunt at home. My parents were at different places for their own business and my sisters were definitely away from home at the time. My aunt is dead but I've always hated her for owning my dad who is her brother, taking advantage of my mom, disliking my mom, trying to make me and my siblings as if we belong to her, and being queen of the world. But the story is I was upstairs in my mom's bathroom playing in a tub of warm water, she came in through the door and looking back at it I realized she was looking for me. For some reason she stripped down on me and joined me in the tub. I can say for one thing that she didn't fondle with me, didn't get laid with me, except play with me naked in the tub. However, the point is that I didn't understand, especially why she would strip down naked in front of my face when I was little. The way that I could imagine why is that she was trying to get me to like her more; looking back at it, it was quite delightful for me to see her naked body just on occasions but I certainly did not appreciate what she intended to do. I don't if what my aunt did to me is considered sexual abuse but one thing I did was keeping it secret from my parents because I am to respect elders. If I told my parents earlier then I would've expected that they deal with her seriously; but if my aunt really got laid on me then my parents would make sure she doesn't come back. Is this sexual abuse to you?
4 AnswersFamily5 months agoI want to gain readmission back to my initial major accept my old academic advisor keeps telling me no under a department policy.?
How could my old academic advisor not tell me how I can gain readmission back to my initial major accept tell me she's just going by department policy? I'm already trying to schedule an appointment with the department chair, college associate dean, and university provost to settle my situation. I've already had someone told me that my old advisor may not know the answers to my questions and faculty members and advisors don't have the authority to grant you readmission, and may not even be aware of the requirements for readmission. Also, for this reason, this is why I am told to see the department chair, dean, or associate dean. Because this "someone" here had told me that my old advisor in a way may not know everything, this person is also a director of advising and knows enough to know that there are tons factors that go into readmission. He or she also says that other departments use staff advisors, and they are also not given such latitude. In the end, I was told that speaking to someone higher up is to your benefit, as they are the ones who know the details and can make the decisions. Another suggestion that was made by that "someone" said that I should provide them with the necessary or requested documentation for review. What other insights can you give me?
5 AnswersHigher Education (University +)6 months agoI'm trying to gain readmission back to a major that I got discontinued in, I received tips to see the department chair, any other advice?
I was a psych major at a school called UCR and I've been absent and undeclared for more than a year now. I was told to see department chair, dean or associate dean, and then university provost. However, first I'm thinking to contact my old academic advisor to ask if she can review my completed progress from another university which is my transcript that I had been attending for extensive learning. I also want to ask her if what's on my transcript will get me back in the program. What other advice would help me?
