Would the pandemic be over by 2022?

No not as far as I can see

It would be over if everyone wore masks until they were vaccinated. The problem is that too many people are irresponsible in spreading the disease and it is mutating to worse forms. 

Covid is here to stay, anyone who says otherwise is delusional.

No way. There are already several varients and undoubtedly more on the horizon. Too many ppl are refusing vaccination and too many third world countries can't even get the vaccine at all. Covid is here to stay.

Personally l doubt it, l think there will be more strains that will build up their immunity against the vaccines, they may get the pandemic under control but l believe the virus will be with us forever similar to the flu virus and we will need to be vaccinated in a precautionary way every so often, having said that l wish l am wrong

I don’t think anyone knows for sure, but I hope so. I’m so sick of having to wear a mask in public.
