Efficiency, Efficacy, Equity.  Cost effectiveness, quality of care and fairness.  You can have any two but you can never have all three.

The Affordable Care Act /ACA) is the federal statute signed into law in ... Know the Basics ... Protection and Affordable Care Act, and often just called Obamacare, ... All ACA-compliant health insurance plans—including every plan that's ... Marketplace during which people can buy or switch insurance plans.

I agree that it is hardly what I would call affordable, but it is way better than no insurance at all. Not good when health care of any kind is unaffordable.

The obvious solution is Universal Health Care and fee controls.  Free market health care is not a good thing.  Profit off the misfortune of your fellow citizens is the act of a pretty low quality individual.  Lots of people do it though, make ****-tons of money off the sick and injured.  It is really sad that people do that, if you ask me.

Not asking for anything for free.  Just asking to avoid profiteering off people in grave need.

@Allen, what's your party's plan for lowering the runaway cost of health care in the U.S.?  Oh!  Isn't it the same one Trump came up with?

If that isn't fraud plain and simple, I don't know what is.

I bought a Happy Meal and it didn't make me happy. I'm suing McDonald's for false advertising.

If we had single payer, it would be. Insurance companies took advantage of the fact that everyone could get insurance, and rose prices.
