Christians please answer these questions?

If you hear Gods voice what do you think he was saying to those in Auschwitz?

Acts 4:13 describe Peter and John being illiterate. The earliest known fragments of the NT are in Greek and Christian scholars agree that the gospels were not written by the disciples themselves, they also agree that the gospels came from stories passed on. How do you feel about that inconsistency?

Why do you think Jesus didn't write anything? Or at least converse with a scribe.

By asking hard questions do you feel that I am angry, depressed or need guidance?

In the OT God orders the killing of many children, I am told this was done because the child could have grown up to be horrible and kill millions, why do you think God allowed Hitler to reach adulthood?

If God controls everything and knows the future/outcome then why pray? Whatever happens has already been determined, what use is praying?

Would you agree that a luxury car is an icon of pride? Car companies have used the slogan "Driven by pride" and to buy a luxurious car in psychology is known as hedonistic. What car do you drive? What car does your minister drive?

Thanks heaps

Update:

Yeah in the NIV it does, please look at all the textual variants.

Update 2:

WYC

And they saw the steadfastness of Peter and of John, and when it was found that they were men unlettered, and lay men [that there were men without letters, and idiots], they wondered, and they knew them that they were with Jesus.

DRA

Now seeing the constancy of Peter and of John, understanding that they were illiterate and ignorant men, they wondered; and they knew them that they had been with Jesus.

Update 3:

1)  You haven't really answered the questions, you kinda made up your own and answered them.

2) I'm not asking how you believe God speaks, I am asking what you think he said.

3) Nonsense! Why not write in their original language? Why use Greek?

4) Yah again no direct answer

5) Didn't really answer the question just kinda made one up

6) Okay so your saying if it wasn't Hitler it would have been someone else, kinda a catch 22.

7) God exist outside of time so everything is happening all at

Update 4:

once. Sorry this makes no sense to me.

Update 5:

A luxury car is a lot of money, money that could benefit Gods creation, not only cars pollute this world but buying luxury cars cost a lot of money which could be better off somewhere else. Lead by example

Update 6:

Sorry I don't think there's any point to this now. Clearly just not really understanding the questions. I'm sorry if you feel you do.

    You should breakdown your questions one at a time.

    God does not reveal to us in a specific sense about Auschwitz.

    I don’t see an inconsistency.

    On what basis do you claim that Jesus did not write anything?

    I have not necessarily seen any hard questions, I don’t know your motive.

    The word of Gos says that there is no one who is good, not one.  A child, while vulnerable, is not without sin since they were born with a sin nature.  God decree what came about with Hitler, and He does not fully reveal to us His exact plan with what happened with Hitler.

    Prayer does not change God or negate His knowledge of all things.  Prayer is communicating with God and worship of God.  Prayer changes the one who is trusting in God.  God is not some kind of cosmic genie, granting wishes.

    Luxury car: depends on the heart of the person who owns it.  It is not a sin to own a luxury car in and of itself.  If you live in the USA, in a general sense, you are far more wealthier than the majority of the world.  Money is not a sin unless it becomes and idol.

    1) Your questions are not 'hard' or even very challenging to answer;

    2) GOD 'speaks' through teams of dramatists called 'angels.' Many who survived Auschwitz describe seeing their direct intervention with things like repeatedly misfiring guns, Germans inexplicably risking their lives to bring them 'secret' food and many other things that confirmed their belief in GOD and His angels;

    3) Most of the people who wrote the Bible were illiterate before they received unfiltered divine inspiration and suddenly knew how to write, only learning afterwards what was written. They were also moved to inspire corresponding social dramas serving to illustrate the meaning of the narratives, words and allegories of scripture;

    4) The 'Holy Spirit' is Jesus Christ and He wrote every word of inspired scripture.

    "But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture becomes a matter of someone’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." (2 Peter 1:20-21);

    5) Modern people have killed 50 million viable infants in the womb alone. They knowingly burn children alive in preventable car wrecks every year as part of the 'price of Progress.' If GOD 'killed' every child born in the ancient world all at once, it wouldn't come close to the number killed by modern people in one year. The Noahic flood killed 8 million people total. There is no scriptural narrative of battles involving more people than can fit into an average modern sports arena. Those killed number in the thousands not 'millions.' The end result is always stable peace and a renewed society rescued from the kind of evil we unfortunately face everyday.

    6) Hitler wasn't much different from anyone else. What killed millions of people were the war machines which their inventors failed to secure from evil hands. Without them, Hitler would have been a soapbox street preacher and failed artist. Christ calls these evil mechanisms, 'the stumbling blocks,' which He explains are inevitable because of the advance of knowledge.

    “Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to the person through whom the stumbling block comes!" (Matthew 18:7).

    7) Like us, GOD enjoys His Own experiences more by 'compartmentalizing' aspects of His knowledge away from each other, so 'knowing everything' doesn't mean GOD isn't enjoying Himself or enjoying how things actually unfold. We watch the same great movies over and over again for similar reasons. Prayer is how He gets close to us and enjoys us;

    8) Anything called 'luxurious' could be a source of pride but it could just as easily be an example to the evil of the world that fine things can be accessed, appreciated and used WITHOUT doing evil. That is how the evil are judged by GOD.

    "I have been young and now I am old,

    Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken

    Or his descendants begging for bread.

    "All day long he is gracious and lends,

    And his descendants are a blessing.

    "Turn from evil and do good,

    So that you will dwell forever." (Psalm 37:25-27).

    I wasn't alive during the Auschwitz holocaust.

    Why do you assume a Greek fragment or manuscript is an inconsistency?Some think we have a Jesus letter. Look it up. Decide for yourself.

    I don't think how you feel is relevant if you have questions, take a risk that people will think like constantly negative atheists about everything. Some people just answer, without regard to misplaced or disingenuous concern.

    Acts 4:13 in the King James Bible (which is the only one that is 100% perfect) doesn't say they were illiterate.  It is saying they didn't sit at the feet of the Pharisees for the false teachings of the Pharisees.  So they were "unlearned and ignorant" in the minds of the Pharisees, who are in hell right now if they stayed as unbelievers their entire lives.  Since you yourself are apparently illiterate, and didn't see that the word didn't appear anywhere in the verse, then I stopped reading once I came to that realization.  Go learn to read.
