Say if the White Russians won the civil war, how do you think that would change the world today?

The State Council and the State Duma of the Russian Empire would have become more integrated, forming something similar to a modern parliamentary system.

No communist victory would mean no end to absolutism, the power of kings and emperors. That would make us never see things like TV,space exploration and other contemporary achievements too!It would make our contemporary life much less interesting and amazing!

Russia would have looked worse with them, especially the  standards of living would be lower than now. The Russian nobility was in charge, and they regarded all Russians beneath them and Russian peasants (the majority of Russians) as cattle.

Furthermore, they were only interested in their parties, hunting, acquiring wealth and making war on others. White Russians never invested in electricity and education for their citizens. Also, the Communist party members monopolized wealth and power, but they were more numerous (and hence gave people form lower background the chance to rise) and even those not in power got a better education than ever before.

And Kerensky and his fellow parliamentarians were usually only good at talking and only interested in keeping Russia in the war, when Russians wanted to get out of the war in which Nicky and his elite had led them in.

The royal family would never have stepped back. They had a very different attitude.  And a liberal market economy would not have naturally ensued, because Russia was even before Communism riddled by bureaucracy (the Communists only continued this), abuse of power of elites and foreign industrialists and corruption.

I think that if the Black Russians had won, they would have outlawed slavery quicker in that commie hellhole. Thank you, and good night.

We would not have that very long film the commies made showing the execution by firing squad of thousands of White Russians.

Communism would only be a footnote in history

Well, the problem was that the Russian aristocracy was weak and losing power anyway.  But if they had been able to win, I expect they would have accepted a Constitutional Monarchy similar to that in the UK; or maybe the royal family would have gone into exile and a Constitutional Republic would have been formed.

Well, they didn't win it, so I think you must mean "If they HAD WON the Civil War" ...

Too many variables. Whoever ends up in charge could do a poor job and the country falls apart again. The chaotic environment and the destruction left behind by war would make carrying out reforms difficult. Certain events like Stalin's industrialization drive might not have happened unless the alternative leaders had the same priorities. If you want to ask what if, go back to the revolution of 1905. If reformers like Prime Minister Stolypin were given the go ahead, the chances of reforms succeeding and the monarchy surviving would at least have a sporting chance.
