Based off Fox News legal arguments in court why would any politician ever take them seriously?

Fox News was successful in court with their legal argument that no sane person would take Fox News as factual. This argument save the Fox News millions of dollars in defamation lawsuits and other scandals due to misinformation. Based off of these legal arguments that Fox News has why would anyone ever take them seriously? Why would Any politician take a question from Fox News based off of their legal argument? So logically speaking Fox News can I have their cake and eat it too. If they want to stay their factual then they have the retroactively pay any damages cost from misinformation and defamation and character that they were sued for. If Fox News is by their own definition fake news and no same person would take them as factual and why would any politician actually waste their time and take a question from Fox News

Update:

Fox News is the only news source that I can think of that literally went to court and argued that no sane person should take them as being factual

Update 2:

Regardless of opinion holds are held to a different standard if your legal argument is no sane person should take Fox News as factual then why should they be given the time of day. Especially since they did not specify that this only referred to opinion host

Politicians try to send themselves as fair but to be honest with you based off of Fox News legal argument in court then they need to either acknowledge that that argument is invalid pay any defamation lawsuits and acknowledge misinformation or accept that they're not factual and not get the same legitimate treatment as factual news outlets

Frankly, their legal arguments are factual and correct.  No one should trust corporate media, even fact checking articles.

I'm guessing there is a reason why you are hopelessly vague in what you're talking about. Is this because you'd make a fool out of yourself if you provided specifics?

You should go back and look up retractions made from NY Times, ABC, NBC, CBS.  Odd you would think FOX is the worst.  They are far from it.  They told you FOX is the worst liar.  Nobody would ever know what goes on without FOX.  I can see you haven't looked into what the Democrats in congress have said about Dominion.  Google it.  They have questioned it for years as have other countries.

Opinion shows are held to a lower standard than news shows, regardless of which network they're on.  That applies to Rachel Maddow as much as to Tucker Carlson.

Glad I could clear that up for you.

Trumpt doesn't like Fox . So cons turned to who says what they want to hear .

It's nothing in politics now to claim it was a good lie
